The first night of the 2018 Casino du Lac Leamy’s fireworks competition “The Sound of Light” by the Spanish team Pirotecnia Zaragozana SA. The fireworks were launched from a barge on the Ottawa River on the west side of the Alexandra Bridge and across from the Museum of History. My location was the Hull Marina dock just east of the Alexandra Bridge, looking back across the Ottawa River at downtown Ottawa.
